Accounts Receivable Accountant

Overview

• Employer: TAD Logistics Group (3PL Warehousing & Shipping)
• Position: Accounts Receivable Accountant
• Location: JAFZA, Dubai, UAE
• Reporting Line: Head of Finance
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Salary Range: AED 5,000 – AED 6,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Billing & Month-End: Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices on time and assist with month-end financial closing.
• Receipts & Reconciliation: Post customer receipts promptly to correct invoices and reconcile customer accounts/statements.
• Collections & Client Management: Follow up on outstanding balances, resolve billing disputes, and maintain client relationships.
• Reporting: Prepare daily collection updates alongside weekly and monthly AR ageing/collection reports.
• Inter-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to handle invoice queries and credit notes.
• Field Visits: Conduct on-site customer visits for collections and account reviews (approx. 1 week per month; company transport provided).

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• Experience: 2–3 years in accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections (UAE experience and background in logistics, shipping, or service industries preferred).
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, proficient in MS Excel, and basic knowledge of UAE VAT invoicing.
• Core Competencies: Strong communication in English, negotiation, customer-handling, and time management skills.
• Licensing & Preference: Valid UAE driving license is preferred. Female candidates are strongly preferred for this role.
