Science / Physics Teacher

Job description

Deliver high-quality Physics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum and school policies.
Plan, prepare and assess lessons that promote student achievement and progress.
Develop students’ understanding of Physics concepts through practical investigations and laboratory activities.
Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing regular feedback and support.
Maintain accurate academic records, assessments and reports.
Create a safe and engaging learning environment, ensuring compliance with laboratory health and safety procedures.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student success.
Participate in curriculum development, school activities and professional development programmes.
Support the school’s educational objectives in accordance with ADEK requirements.

Minimum qualifications & requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (QFE Level 7) in Physics or a related field, with a recognized teaching qualification.
Teaching qualification meeting ADEK requirements.
Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in Physics.
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Physics curricula.
Experience in planning and delivering practical laboratory-based lessons.
Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in educational technology and assessment practices.
