History of ACA
The American Creativity Academy (ACA) was founded in 1997 by a group of visionaries who aimed to establish a school in Kuwait that offered a unique blend of an American curriculum while respecting and practicing local values. The school received full accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and was authorized to offer the IBDP in 2008. Over time, ACA expanded into a dynamic institution operating across three separate campuses, two in Hawally and one in Salmiya, all within minutes of each other by car.
ACA Now
ACA is recognized as a premier school in Kuwait and stands as the largest school system in the region, serving over 5,000 students. The institution consists of nine schools across three campuses. Kindergarten departments are co-educational, while Elementary and Middle/High School departments are single-gender. The student population is composed entirely of English Language Learners (ELL), with Arabic as the primary language. As a college-preparatory institution, all graduates pursue higher education and enroll in prestigious universities worldwide. Students excel in sports, Ministry of Education competitions, interscholastic conferences, community activities, and academic achievements. The academic year begins in September and concludes in June, with classes held from Sunday through Thursday.

ACA’s Accreditation Status
The American Creativity Academy received dual re-accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) in December 2012. The institution also received re-accreditation from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) in 2015, officially establishing its status as an IB World School.

The Council of International Schools (CIS), registered in the United States and administered by a professional staff based in the United Kingdom, serves hundreds of schools around the world. The organization has been accrediting educational institutions since 1970.
