NBTC Group, formally known as Nasser Mohammed Al Baddah & Partner Co., is an established engineering, procurement and construction contractor with a long history in the Middle East. The company began operations in Kuwait in 1977 and has developed into a diversified industrial services organization supporting major projects in energy, infrastructure, heavy engineering and logistics. Over the years, its experience has expanded across several markets, allowing the group to handle complex construction and industrial assignments for clients in different sectors.
The company’s main office is located in Ahmadi, Kuwait, while its activities extend beyond the country through operations and project involvement in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, India and the United States. This international footprint gives NBTC Group access to a broad range of industrial markets and allows its teams to participate in large-scale developments across different regions. A workforce of more than 14,000 employees supports the organization’s activities worldwide, covering engineering, construction, manufacturing, logistics and technical services.
Engineering and construction represent important parts of the group’s business. Its project capabilities include civil works, mechanical installations and electrical construction associated with oil and gas facilities, power projects and other industrial developments. These services can cover different stages of a project, from construction activities and equipment installation to supporting infrastructure and associated site works. Experience in industrial environments enables the company to undertake projects where safety, technical standards and coordinated execution are essential.
Heavy equipment and logistics form another significant area of activity. NBTC Group provides services involving large cranes, heavy lifting and specialized transportation. Such capabilities are particularly useful for industrial projects that require oversized machinery, structural components or other heavy materials to be moved and positioned safely. The combination of lifting equipment, transport resources and experienced personnel enables the company to support demanding construction schedules and complex site operations.
Manufacturing and fabrication also contribute to the group’s industrial capabilities. Its facilities and technical teams are involved in producing pressure vessels, storage tanks, structural steel and other fabricated components. Machining and fabrication services can support projects that require specially manufactured equipment or steel structures, reducing dependence on external suppliers for certain requirements. These activities complement the company’s construction and engineering operations.
In addition to major contracting activities, the group provides several supporting industrial services. Ready-mix concrete production, technical assistance and industrial trading are among the areas connected with its wider business portfolio. These services help support construction activities while providing additional resources for industrial customers and project requirements.
NBTC Group has built its reputation through decades of involvement in demanding industrial environments. Its combination of construction expertise, heavy lifting resources, fabrication facilities, logistics capabilities and support services gives the organization a broad operating base. With activities spread across Kuwait and other international markets, the group continues to participate in projects connected with energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and industrial development. Its diverse capabilities and substantial workforce position the company to manage projects that require multiple technical disciplines, specialized equipment and coordinated field operations.
