K-PAK CAREER: APPLY NOW FOR THE LATEST VACANCIES

K-PAK began its journey in Kuwait in 1986, establishing an early presence in the Middle Eastern disposable food packaging industry. The company introduced manufacturing based on polystyrene, a petroleum-derived material, and became one of the first manufacturers in the region to develop disposable tableware using this technology.

As demand for disposable food packaging increased across the region, K-PAK expanded beyond Kuwait. In 2000, the company established a second manufacturing operation in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, operating under the name S-PAK. This expansion allowed the business to strengthen its position in the Saudi market while responding to the growing requirements of customers throughout the Gulf.

Further expansion followed in 2003 with the establishment of a third production facility in Jeddah. The location provided access to an important Saudi port and supported the company’s growing business in the Levant and European markets. Four years later, in 2007, K-PAK added another manufacturing operation through U-PAK Industries in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The strategic location offered logistical advantages and helped improve the group’s ability to serve customers across different markets.

K-PAK Group has since developed into a large regional manufacturer with approximately 10 production and storage facilities across the GCC. The organization employs close to 250 people and operates modern manufacturing equipment designed to support high-volume production and product development.

The group’s product portfolio covers a broad range of disposable food packaging solutions. Its products include takeaway containers, grab-and-go packaging, disposable tableware, trays, cups, and other packaging products used throughout the food-service sector. Customers include retailers, catering businesses, supermarkets, hypermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, and fast-food operators.

One of the company’s more recent product developments is the lightweight absorbent tray marketed under the name “Vampirella.” The product was developed particularly for meat and poultry processors. Its high absorption capacity, which can reach approximately five to eight times the weight of the tray, helps manage liquids released from fresh and frozen meat products. This can improve the visual appearance of packaged products and help address concerns related to shelf presentation and product shelf life.

K-PAK has also broadened its capabilities in rigid plastic packaging, including PET, PP, and HIPS materials. The expansion has added further options to its food-packaging portfolio. In addition to standard products, the company provides customized packaging solutions, including branded boxes and cups designed around individual customer requirements.

The group maintains a direct market presence in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. In other Middle Eastern markets, its products are distributed through established local partners with experience in the food-packaging sector. This distribution network allows K-PAK to reach a wider customer base without relying solely on direct operations.

Quality and regulatory compliance form an important part of the company’s manufacturing approach. K-PAK states that its products undergo testing through independent laboratories. The company also follows European Commission Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 concerning plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. In addition, the group holds ISO certification and has been associated with regional green certification initiatives.

As the demand for its packaging products continued to grow, K-PAK expanded its activities beyond manufacturing. In 2019, the group established K-Concept in Dubai as a dedicated trading operation. The business was created to respond to customers seeking a broader selection of packaging products from different international sources.

K-Concept aims to bring a wider range of packaging solutions together under one platform. Its product offering is particularly focused on disposable products for retail, premium catering, restaurants, and hotels. Through this additional business channel, K-PAK Group has sought to complement its manufacturing capabilities with a broader sourcing and distribution model.

The development of K-Concept reflects the group’s wider approach to customer service: combining manufacturing expertise with access to a wider international product range. By expanding its production capabilities, introducing new packaging technologies, and developing additional trading activities, K-PAK Group continues to build a diversified presence within the regional food-packaging industry.
