Physical Measurement Standards (PM&ET)

Nursing Assistant (IRBn) ഒഴികെ എല്ലാ candidates-നും Physical Measurement & Endurance Test (PM&ET) qualifying in nature ആണ്. PM&ET-ൽ qualify ചെയ്‌തവർക്ക് മാത്രം Written Examination / Trade Test-ൽ appear ആകാൻ opportunity ഉണ്ടാകും. PM&ET-ൽ marks ഇല്ല; qualifying/elimination മാത്രം.

Physical Endurance Test – Key Events

Medical Standard

Candidates should be of sound health, free from defects, deformity or disease. Vision: 6/6 and 6/9 (both eyes, without correction – glasses/surgery not allowed). Medical Examination: Doctors in selected Government Hospitals in A&N Islands. Final appointment: Medical Examination successful completion ആണ് mandatory.

Selection Process

Stage 1 – Physical Measurement & Endurance Test (PM&ET)

PM&ET qualifying in nature ആണ്; marks ഉണ്ടാകില്ല. 4 Centres-ൽ conduct ചെയ്യും: Netaji Stadium (Sri Vijaya Puram), Netaji Stadium (Mayabunder), BJR Stadium (Carnicobar), Mini Stadium (Campbell Bay). Candidate-ന് apply ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ preferred centre indicate ചെയ്യണം; ഒരിക്കൽ select ചെയ്‌ത centre change ആകില്ല. PM&ET during Physical Endurance Test-ൽ injury ആയാൽ A&N Police liable ആകില്ല; own risk-ൽ participate ചെയ്യണം.

Stage 2 – Written Examination

Tab/computer-based അല്ലെങ്കിൽ sheet-based written exam English/Hindi-ൽ. PM&ET qualify ചെയ്‌തവർക്ക് മാത്രം Written Exam-ൽ appear ആകാൻ opportunity. Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer. Re-evaluation/re-checking ഉണ്ടാകില്ല.

Graduate Level (Common Paper): General Knowledge (40 Q, 40 Marks), General Aptitude (40 Q, 40 Marks), Computer Knowledge (40 Q, 40 Marks), English (40 Q, 40 Marks) – Total: 160 marks, Duration: 2:30 Hrs. Additional papers: SI (Executive/Station Officer/GD/PMT/Dealing Asst.): Hindi (40 Q, 40 Marks, 40 min); Radio Operator/Technician/Cipher Operator: Physics, Electronics & Electrical (40 Q, 40 Marks, 40 min); SI (PMT): Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (40 Q, 40 Marks, 40 min).

Higher Secondary Level (Common Paper): General Knowledge (40), General Aptitude (40), Computer Knowledge (40), Hindi (40), English (40) – Total: 200 marks, Duration: 3:00 Hrs. Nursing Assistant (IRBn): General Knowledge, Reasoning, Simple Arithmetic – 100 marks, 2:00 Hrs.

Matric Level (Common Paper): General Knowledge (40), General Aptitude (40), Computer Knowledge (40), English (40) – Total: 160 marks, Duration: 2:30 Hrs. Additional: Follower Messenger/Daftry: Hindi (40 min); Driver posts/Police Constable Driver: Driving, Motor Vehicles & Mechanism (40 min); Fitter Electrician: Electrical Fitter (40 min); Diesel Mechanic: Diesel Engine Mechanism (40 min).

Stage 3 – Trade Test (wherever applicable)

PM&ET qualify ചെയ്‌ത ശേഷം, Sri Vijaya Puram-ൽ Trade Test conduct ചെയ്യും. Sub-Inspector (PMT), Sub-Inspector (Master) PMF, Constable (Bandsmen), Fitter Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Follower Messenger, Follower Cook, Follower Carpenter, Follower Washerman, Follower Barber, Follower Tailor, Safaikaramchari, Constable (Driver) PMT, Police Constable (Driver) FS, Police Constable (Greaser/Lascar) PMF, Constable (Water Carrier/Barber/Safai Karamchari) IRBn – ഇവർക്ക് Trade Test ഉണ്ടാകും. Trade Test scores final merit-ൽ count ആകും (Follower/Constable Trade posts-ന്). Mobile phones/electronic devices trade test center-ൽ allow ആകില്ല.

Stage 4 – Typing Test on Computer (Store Keeper & Dealing Assistant – PMT)

PM&ET & Written qualify ചെയ്‌തവർ: Typing Test (25 marks, 10 minutes). English: minimum 30 w.p.m; Hindi: minimum 25 w.p.m. ഈ marks final merit-ൽ count ആകും. Computer Formatting Test (MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel) qualifying in nature.

Stage 5 – Medical Examination & Police Verification

Written/Trade Test qualify ചെയ്‌ത candidates shortlisted ആകും. Medical Examination + Police Verification completion successful ആയ ശേഷം appointment.

NCC Bonus Marks

NCC Certificate holders-ന് bonus marks ലഭിക്കും: NCC ‘C’ Certificate: Written Exam marks-ന്റെ 5% (SI posts) / Trade Test-ന്റെ 5% (Follower posts); NCC ‘B’ Certificate: 3%; NCC ‘A’ Certificate: 2%. Highest category certificate-ന് മാത്രം benefit. Original certificate Document Verification-ൽ produce ചെയ്യണം.

Post Preference

Candidates apply ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ Posts preference order-ൽ indicate ചെയ്യണം. ഒരിക്കൽ submit ചെയ്‌ത preference FINAL ആണ്; change ഉണ്ടാകില്ല. Highest preference post-ന് selected ആയവരെ lower preference posts-ന് consider ചെയ്യില്ല. Preference-ൽ include ചെയ്‌ത posts-ന് മാത്രം consider ആകും.

1. Official Website Open ചെയ്യുക: https://erecruitment.andamannicobar.gov.in visit ചെയ്‌ത് “Candidate’s Corner” button click ചെയ്യുക.
2. New Registration: New users “Register Your Details” link-ൽ click ചെയ്‌ത് Salutation, Full Name (First + Middle + Last), Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy), Active Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number, Active Email ID fill ചെയ്ത് Submit ചെയ്യുക. Registration Number & Password SMS-ൽ ലഭിക്കും. ഇവ note ചെയ്ത് safe ആയി സൂക്ഷിക്കുക.
3. Login ചെയ്യുക: Registration Number, Password, Captcha Code ഉപയോഗിച്ച് “Combined Recruitment” option select ചെയ്‌ത് Login ആകുക.
4. “Apply Online” Click ചെയ്യുക: Vacancy Notification list-ൽ നിന്ന് “Recruitment for Group B(NG) and Group C Posts in A&N Police Department” row-ൽ Apply Online click ചെയ്യുക.
5. 7. Educational Qualification Upload ചെയ്യുക: Qualification category select ചെയ്‌ത ശേഷം qualification details fill ചെയ്‌ത് “Add Educational Qualification” click ചെയ്ത് Save & Continue ചെയ്യുക.
8. Experience Details (applicable ആണെങ്കിൽ): Experience type, Employer, Designation, Nature of Work, Duration (months) fill ചെയ്‌ത് “Add Experience” click ചെയ്‌ത് Save & Continue.
9. Fee Payment (General/OBC/EWS Male): ₹100 SBI account-ലേക്ക് (UPI/Net Banking/Debit Card) transfer ചെയ്‌ത് Transaction No., Date, Transaction Copy (.jpg/.jpeg, 10KB–500KB) upload ചെയ്‌ത് “Add Payment Details” & “Save and Continue” click ചെയ്യുക. ST/Women: fee exempt.
10. Photo & Signature Upload ചെയ്യുക: Passport-size colour photo (white background, JPEG, 20KB–50KB, 3.5cm×4.5cm, 3 months-ൽ കൂടുതൽ aged ആകരുത്, cap/spectacles ഇല്ലാതെ). Signature: Blue ink, JPEG, 10KB–20KB, 4.0cm×2.0cm. Blurred photo/signature ഉള്ള applications reject ചെയ്യും.
11. Preview Check ചെയ്‌ത് Complete Application Submit ചെയ്യുക: Preview form ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ review ചെയ്‌ത ശേഷം Declaration checkbox tick ചെയ്‌ത് “Complete Application” click ചെയ്യുക. Submit ചെയ്‌ത ശേഷം no changes allowed.
