In addition to this, WhatsApp is also testing a new update to edit the sent message without deleting them. WhatsApp, an app which is owned by Meta, is now reportedly working on message editing features and this is not the first time WhatsApp has been reported to run on a message edit option. The same feature was tried in 2017 but was not made available to everyone. Wabitainfo is to first report that the WhatsApp Edit Text Site update is coming soon. This new feature will allow the users to edit text messages. Tap and hold on to the message to be edited and then click on the three-dot icon at the top to get the edit option. At the same time, it is known that WhatsApp does not seem to have any plans to show the edit history. However, there is not much information about how long it takes to edit a sent message. As the edit update is currently being tested on iOS, Android and desktop beta versions, this feature is expected to be available to everyone soon.
