According to the new rule, Pravasi Students who have a Norka Roots identity card would have to pay Double Insurance. In the event of an unintentional death, insurance would be issued in the range of 2 lakh to 4 lakh. In the event that a person becomes incapacitated, insurance coverage has raised from a range of 1 lakh to 2 lakh rupees.

If a person is accidently killed or becomes completely or partially crippled, he or she will be covered by this insurance. From April 1, 2020, this benefit will be available. Those who have been a member since April 1 or before will be eligible for the perks after completing one year of membership.

According to the estimates from previous year’s economics, Norka distributed 54.64 lakh to 28 Pravasi families. People who have completed the age of 18 and are working on a six-month visa, passport, or other document will be given a Norka origins Pravasi identity card.
